My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Although Buckley is a senior, he is an active boy that loves to be loved and still loves to fetch. His favorite things are laps (so he can crawl in), tennis balls, and frisbees (not necessarily in that order). He is friendly and warm with all adult humans (not sure about kids but our guess is that he would be fine with them), and he is mellow with other dogs. He also enjoys going for walks and although he likes to be out ahead, he doesn’t pull hard at all.

Buckley is a smart old boy and knows sit, down, shake, stay (this needs a little reinforcement especially if a ball is involved), and has a fantastic recall. He has put on a few extra pounds over the years and is dieting down to a new, slimmer, happier weight.

Buckley needs a home where he can get some good lovin’, so the ideal situation would be someone who works from home (of course, this is not necessary, just ideal!). He exhibits no anxiety when being left and is highly adaptable.
