Milton's Story...
Hi, my name is Milton! I am approximately 7 years old. I came to the shelter as a stray, and would be over the moon if I could find a forever home soon! Since coming to the shelter, I have played with both big and small dogs. I really like them all. I recently had to have most of my teeth removed and will require soft food for the rest of my life. But, that's not too much to ask when I will be repaying you with unconditional love. My ideal home would be one with lots of love, cuddles, sleeping, nice slow walks, and lots of brushing! If you can provide that for me, will you come meet me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milton, a Chino Valley Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Chino Valley, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Chino Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chino Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chino Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chino Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
