My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is a 5 month old male Border Collie! He is sweet as ever and always looking to make his companion happy! He has a very mild disposition and can be a little shy at first, never aggressive, and warming up doesn't take long! He is wonderful with all sized and gender dogs, and is happy to romp around with another friend! Cats are unknown, but we don't see them being a problem! He also has experience around horses! Kids of all ages are accepted by this loving boy, he has been around Toddlers 1 year and up, as well as middle and high school age kids. He takes all the love and hugs he can get!

Shadow is potty trained, as well as leash trained. He is happiest to be with this owner every chance he gets. He knows basic commands, sit, stay, come, leave it, drop it, etc. The more knowledge he is given, the better! He is a quick learn and loves structure!

When given proper daily mental and physical activity, he shines very bright and is ready to cuddle up after a hard days work! And boy will he cuddle, belly up, ready for scratches and snuggles! He does get bored when left alone. He is not meant to be in a backyard, no matter how big, all day. He will pick up tiny bad habits such as nibbling the patio chair, or running along the fence or in circles until the grass is worn out of boredom. Even though he is so sweet, and stops anything bad right when told, he would love a home where he would have the right activities so he doesn't get bored!

It has been such a pleasure fostering this friendly and loving dog! He will bring such joy and fun into the life of his new forever home!
