My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Princess is a 4 year old corgi/collie mix who came to our shelter when her human went to assisted living. Princess is pretty bummed to be at the shelter, not to mention a little nervous in her new surroundings -- as much as we try, the shelter is just not the same as a home. Princess is as sweet as can be, and is a very calm, easygoing, low-maintenance girl. She just needs a little time to get to know you and feel comfortable. A nice, quiet home with adults (kids who are in their teens would be ok, too), where Princess can curl up on the couch would make this girl so happy.

Please fill out an Adoption Application if you'd like to jumpstart the adoption process. To obtain an Application, please click or copy and paste the following link into your computer browser: http://www.spca914.org/forms/dogadopt2015.doc or email Lisa@spca914.org.

No appointment is necessary to come in and meet/adopt an animal unless noted differently above. Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. You may also fill out an Application when you get here. We do same day adoptions. Please note, we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet an animal or have an approved Application with us this does not necessarily guarantee you will get that particular puppy or dog. Also note, even if approved to adopt from us, if you have a dog(s) at home they MUST meet the dog(s) you are interested in adopting from here to ensure they get along before you can officially adopt. All Dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Veterinarian check from a participating Vet!

High Kill Shelter/Southern Rescues, both Puppies and Adults are $350, All Puppies are $350 and Local Stray Adults over 1 year of age are $200-$350. Seniors and Lonely Hearts Club members are $75. Please visit: http://www.spca914.org/adoptanimal.htm to read our Adoption Policy and Procedures in full.
