My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

STORMY is a 5 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 64 pounds. Stormy can jump a 4 ft fence and will do so to get to his people. He is a sweetie. He is a good house guest and is not destructive. He is easy on leash and a superb rider. Stormy is good with other dogs, really does not pay them much mind at all. He can be a bit protective of toys with other dogs but we are working with him on that. He loves water and will play ball ALL DAY LONG if you will let him.. Stormy is house trained and crate trained. He is good on leash and an excellent rider. Good with other dogs, but learning to share his toys. Stormy is approved for kids ages 10+.

Update (7/4): Wouldn't you love to be playing a game of ball with me because I know I sure do want a forever family that loves tennis balls as much as I do! I'm a handsome 5 year old boy that loves people, dogs, tennis balls, water and just love being loved. Don't let the age fool you, I have a lot of pep in my step but I'm not high energy. Even though my name is Stormy, I'm predicting a lot of clear weather ahead so we can play ball and splash in the pool. Our home can be located in an apartment, a townhouse or just a regular home. All I need is the basics, tennis balls, an occasional trek thru some water and your love. Call your AC to come meet me and make me yours!

Update (6/25): In a land far, far away was a sweet labbie boy by the name of Stormy. He loved his humans, other dogs, toys and water. Hey WAIT! I'm not far far away and I really exist. I'm in Amelia waiting on you!
Hi all! My name is Stormy and I'm looking for my forever family. I'm 5 years old and very healthy. I LOVE, I really mean LOVE, being in the water. True lab roots here! I'm looking for a family that wants to love me, play with me and go in the water (a kiddie pool is good for me). I promise I will love you back with everything I have. I'm great with other dogs but not so sure about cats. I've been waiting a bit to find my forever family. I'm told I'm a good looking boy and that I'm very sweet. Oh, I'm good to go into a townhouse or apartment too. Call your AC to adopt me!

Update (6/15) : With the wonderful weather we are having and if you are looking for a water loving boy then Stormy is your guy. He's 5 years old but that's only a number for him. He loves to play with toys and dogs alike. He's great on leash and in the car but his biggest thing is being with YOU! Yep, he can climb a 4 foot fence. It's not to get away....it's to be with his people. This has happened only once but it's important to know. Also, if you don't want to be out playing or splashing around, he would be happy to relax with you. Call your AC to come meet this boy!

Update (6/9): Stormy is the epitome of a lab! He loves water, loves to romp and play and loves to retrieve. He is great on leash and a wonderful rider. He is good in or out of the crate and has great manners too! He loves to play in the yard with Boone and Iggy but is just as content to chill in the house and just hang out. What a good boy!

Jun 5, 2015: What a great guy! Stormy LOVES to play with other dogs, loves water and loves his ball. He will retrieve all day long if you let him! . He is great in the crate and wonderful manners. He is affectionate and super sweet. He is good on leash and a good rider - just a great all around guy!
