Turtle's Story...
Turtle is one of 6 puppies that were abandoned in a plastic laundry basket dumped in parking lot on a Sunday morning. She loves toys and loves to curl up in her doggie bed with her siblings. She looks like a Lab, Black Mouth Cur mix. She is approx 12 weeks old as of May 20, 2015 and weighs 8 lbs. She will probably be in the 20-25 lb range when fully grown. She is not house trained yet and will need leash/harness training, she is a very sweet little girl and would do best with a buddy to play with and keep her company

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turtle, a Allentown Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
