Petal and Daisy's Story...
Hello! We are Daisy, Petal, Rosebud, and Beetle – the Spring Kittens! Our mom was rescued as a pregnant stray during the cold winter months. We were born in foster care on March 24 and now approximately 8 1/2 weeks old, we are the perfect little kitties to complete your family. We are highly socialized and outgoing. I (Daisy) am a gorgeous calico girl who is the most adventurous and playful of the group. I quickly learned to scale the baby gate and am now tackling the cat tree! I am also very loving and will immediately run to you for attention. My sister Petal is a beautiful tabby/calico mix, while Rosebud is a pretty tuxedo. They are both very playful, energetic, and fun! They love being snuggled and petted. Our brother Beetle is very gentle and more low key. He loves sitting on your lap and will quickly bond to his special person. We would love to go home with a sibling or another kitty to play with. It won’t be long before we’re adopted, so fill out an application if you’re interested! http://www.care-cats.org/online-application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petal and Daisy, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
