Victoria's Story...
Hi! My name is Victoria and I was asked to tell you a little about myself. I was surrendered to the animal shelter on May 14th, 2008. A nice lady found me walking the county roads and thought that I would have a better chance in life, if I could find a great home. She was scared to bring me to the local animal shelter, but after talking to the nice people here; she realized that they would do their best to find me a home. I have had the works since being here. I had my teeth checked, tested for all kids of stuff, and they even had me spayed. The “Cat Lady” Ms. Joan even gave me a good brushing and man… I feel like a million bucks. Well… to make my long story short I need a home and I would love it if someone would consider me for a change. Crossing my claws, Victoria

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Victoria, a Brenham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brenham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brenham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brenham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brenham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brenham paves the way for another one to be saved.
