Garrett and his sister Maranda are Rat Terrier Chihuahua mixes. They do dig outside and need supervision. The pups are very smart and a joy to be with. They love each other like crazy however we will consider individual homes for them. At this time the pups are about 5 months old and under 6 pounds. We require a previous vet history that can be verified and no small children. Applications that do not qualify will be discarded.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maranda, a McDonough Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in McDonough, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in McDonough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McDonough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McDonough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McDonough paves the way for another one to be saved.
