Kamikaze's Info...

Kamikaze's Story...
Very smart! Easily trained and knows several tricks; Loves to be praised for good work and loves affection; Healthy, neutered, micro chipped, all vaccinations and parasite preventatives up to date; Crate-trained and can be left crated while you are away in the day; House-broken and trained to go to the washroom on command outside; Doesn’t chew/can be trusted to roam free in the house; No unnecessary barking, Stands still for collar/leashing and baths (he LOVES to be towelled off!); Can Dremel his nails; Loves to chase and fetch his giant ball in the yard, relaxed inside the house and loves to snuggle and spends most of his time sleeping.

Needs a cat free home; best suited to a home that can provide regular walks/exercise and consistency in training; energetic and strong so best in a home without small children; gets excited when meeting new people on walks but this has been improving as we practice going on more walks. Would do best with a large dog as a playmate and slow introductions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kamikaze, a Okotoks Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
