Lacey Lou's Story...
Lacey Lou is a 2 year old Great Dane and aside from her dislike of cats, she is a perfect dog. Her foster parents have a caged bunny whom she acknowledges but otherwise ignores. She rarely barks, only at the cats. She has been trained on invisible fence and can run in the yard off leash with no problems. She is very smart and responds to "No" every time such a response it needed. When told to, she goes straight to her crate. When told to "Stay", she will stay in place until she hears "OK." This works when the door to her crate is open or when the door to the yard is open. She is also very affectionate and would love the chance to be a part of your family.

Please visit www.justgiants.org for more information about our adoption process and application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey Lou, a Oswego Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Oswego, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Oswego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oswego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oswego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oswego paves the way for another one to be saved.
