Meet the "Friends" Gang!

"I'm Ross! I'm a 6 week old (born mid-April 2015) male White & Orange kitty. I am house trained, currently receiving vaccinations and will be neutered as soon as the vet says we are ready!

Myself, my brother Joey, and my sister Monica (Adopted) were found hiding under a deck. We were pretty scared out there all alone. We're not sure what happened to our Mama but she was really good to us so we hope she's ok.

Thankfully one of the stick-people (that's what the tall hairless things walk on) called other stick-people and they came to the deck and convinced us to come out. I'll be honest, it was pretty easy cuz they had food and we were starving so we just followed our noses!

Joey is a gentle kinda guy, I'm pretty inquisitive, and Monica is the fiesty one, but we are all very playful!

Now we've been in what they call foster care and life is good. We hear life will be GREAT as soon as we find a forever home! We absolutley cannot wait for that day! Do you have a forever home for us??!!!

The Friends Gang will be ready to go to their forever homes under our Foster-to-Adopt program on June 8, 2015

*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ross - Adopted - June 2015, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
