Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hendrix is a handsome and dog-friendly five-year-old, 55-pound, male, red Chow-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Sadly, Hendrix guardian was stabbed to death in Waukegan and Hendrix ran off. He lost his eye somewhere along the way and he takes medication for epilepsy. He is housebroken, but needs to relieve himself more often due to his epilepsy medication.
All Hendrix wants is a bone to chew on and a soft bed to lie in. He’s a little stubborn so he’s best with adults and teens, not small children.
Hendrix is wonderful on leashed walks. He's also wonderful with other dogs.
Hendrix’s adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Tails of Hope. He is healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. He is currently at the Tails of Hope Shelter in Highland Park, Illinois.
To meet and possibly adopt Hendrix, please fill in the adoption application at: http://tailsofhope.org/availabledogs.html and follow up by contacting tailsofhope@aol.com or 847-557-9554.
