Marli's Story...
Marli is an awesome girl. She is friendly to everyone she meets, ignores cats, and loves to go for walks and play. She does get quite “barky” and tries to herd other dogs when they play, but only if there are more than 2 dogs playing. She has lots of energy and loves to be around people, kids and other dogs/pets. She is house trained, but doesn't like to be in a kennel. She feels trapped and tries to escape! She has been fine just left loose with our dogs when no one is home. She still gets excited on a walk but settles quickly and is enjoyable to walk.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marli, a Regina Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Regina, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Regina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Regina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Regina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Regina paves the way for another one to be saved.
