Ra's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ra's Story...
Ra a 12 week old puppy. He came from North Carolina, where he was found in the woods. Some loving people got a hold of my rescue and here they are. Ra is an outgoing puppy and full of energy. He loves to play with the other dogs and has seen the house cats, and feel in time with the right introductions, they would become friends. He weighs about 12 pounds and is growing. I am guessing he will be a medium sized dog. He is wearing a green collar in the video posted. If you are interested in meeting Ra, please send us an email and we can set something up. You can find more pictures at www.facebook.com/ItTakesAVillageAnimalRescue. Or call us at 302.690.1963

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ra, a Middletown Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
