My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MISHU & MOON are gorgeous Siamese/Snowshoe sweeties who lived all their lives together as best friends until they were abandoned at the city shelter when their owner could no longer care for them. Well, Mishu and Moons's foster parent decided that these sweet, sweet souls would live happily ever after. The story of their reunion is very sweet. Moon arrived first at her foster parent's house, and quickly relaxed in her new, quiet space. Mishu followed a few days later. She was very shy and hesitant when she was taken out of the transport carrier, and so very, very sad. Her foster parent gently lifted her out, and carried Mishu to the bottom cubby of the cat tower, where Moon was curled up. Mishu stood at the entrance for a few seconds, not believing her eyes. She sniffed and snuffled, and then walked into cubby. Mishu and Moon touched noses, and Mishu's whole body seemed to melt as waves of relief visibly rolled through her body. She made snuff-snuffling sound of relief and joy, and snuggled her whole body as much as she could against Moon's. Their eyes closed, and it seemed for the first time since their ordeal began, they felt safe. At that moment, all that mattered was that they were together again. They stayed like that for several hours, just glued together, resting, with probably the first peaceful dreams they had in a long while.

When Mishu settled in and realized that she could trust that she and Moon were together again, she started exploring. She was born around 8/2/02, but is active and healthy, and quite ready to give affectionate head-butts and whole body nudges. Mishu is even-tempered and quiet, pretty much minds her own business, but she's always attentive to her best friend, Moon, and if she hears Moon occasionally meowing about something, she will come to investigate, to make sure her best friend is ok. Mishu is not above playing with cat toys, but what she likes best is sitting in a quiet spot and making her rounds.

Mishu loves her best friend, Moon, of course, but she also likes other cats. She's a placid personality, very easy-going, and even gets along with playful kittens (her foster siblings). She is tidy, and always uses her litterbox (uncovered, clumping litter).

MISHU is a dear one, and deserves a loving, forever home with her best friend, Moon. If you're reading this far it's clear you are touched by her story, and care about her. Why not take the next step, and adopt Mishu and Moon? They are easy to take care of, and incredibly sweet, and will socialize well with other cat-friendly cats. You can be the special person who is part of their happy ending!
