My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Brette and I am a 3 year old apricot Cocker/Poodle. I was rescued in January 2015 from a puppy mill…. I am still a scared little girl who may still shake when you first hold me, but I then begin to relax in your arms and become more comfortable. I love sleeping with my foster mom (human) and all my foster siblings (dogs) at night. I would really like to be adopted into a home with another dog so I can continue to learn the “in’s and out’s” of being a pampered pooch! I also require a fenced in yard – because I really like to spend time exploring the yard and this helps me gain confidence.

I am still a work in progress with walking on a leash… someday’s I don’t mind, other days, it’s just not for me.

My ideal family would have lots of patience and love to shower upon me, another dog/or dogs, fenced in yard and a big couch and TV (because I have really gotten into watching TV with my fostermom and her “crew”…)
