My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You know the saying “the eyes are the window into ones soul?” Patsy has the most compassionate eyes I have ever seen! I hate to imagine what horrors she saw during her life inside the puppy mill. You see, Patsy was used as a breeder dog - she was required to have litter after litter of Yorkie babies that were then sold to the highest bidder.

3 year old Patsy came into our rescue on a busy fundraiser day in the middle of March…. And guess what? It wasn’t just her freedom day…. It was also freedom for her unborn babies…. Patsy delivered 4 beautiful puppies 2 weeks later in a warm bed surrounded by the love of her foster momma. This was the first time Patsy got to have her babies with her and know that she would be taken care of and have enough food and water to nourish her babies… and let me tell you, Patsy is the best momma ever!

But now it’s Patsy’s turn to have the “happy ever after” she so much deserves.

All 10 lbs of Patsy loves to run in the yard and chase squirrels… but she equally loves to snuggle up with you on the couch to watch some good TV. We are still a work in progress with housetraining – but if she get’s outside enough during the day – no accidents!
