Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Perfectly named, our Scarlett is a total diva, and completely content to live the lifestyle! This pretty, black and rust, 6 yr. old "princess" loves her people but it must be on her terms. She has excellent manners in the home and at the vets for check-ups or nail trims. She looks forward to her ear cleaning after her bath, and even tolerates having her teeth brushed - anything for beauty! She enjoys wearing sweaters and hopes to have a nice wardrobe in her new home. Scarlett will need a fenced area to potty, with a lot of encouragement to go outside when it is cold, raining, or snowing - like we said, a total diva! Scarlett is a velcro girl that wants to keep you company while you do household chores, staying near as you keep her castle clean. She "smiles" when she is excited or when you return home. A morning girl, she happily bounces around the bed until you join her for breakfast! Due to previous owner neglect and lack of veterinary care, one of her front legs has been amputated. This has not slowed her down a bit, and she enthusiastically looks forward to her daily walk. Miss Scarlett has really blossomed in foster care once she realized she was safe and loved. We know that this dobergirl has experienced mistreatment in her past, and she will need just the right home for her to thrive. Scarlett is not tolerant of other dogs and cats, and she is unsure of children. She will do best in a Dobe savvy, adults only home where she can be the diva that she is! Please consider giving Scarlett the loving, forever home she deserves.
