Hi, my name is Sealy. I'm a three year old female Shih Tzu and weigh 13 pounds. I’m an apricot color and have been told how beautiful I am, and it’s true! I’m really enjoying my foster home. I love to play with toys and other dogs or just lay around observing life. I have a really tiny foster sister and I enjoy curling up with her to sleep, when she lets me. I'm very affectionate but don’t really care to be picked up and held.
I sure like sleeping in bed with my foster mom and foster sisters. I hope my forever family will let me sleep with them too… It's one of my favorite things to do, second to looking out the window or a game of chase with my foster sister, Lily.
I'm a really good girl and while I am very happy to be in my foster home, I can't wait to find a forever home of my own. I do have some behavior issues that my foster mom is helping me work on. I’m part of our Ruff Rehab program, which means my prospective family will need to meet me first at the Minnetonka Petco Meet and Greet and spend some time with me and Max our trainer, in addition to our regular adoption process. My adoptive family must be willing to work with me on training so that we can all be happy! If there are children in the family it would be best if they have already been raised with a dog and know about good behavior and being respectful in their interaction with dogs.
Sealy is a healthy girl who is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on all vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $320.00 plus $23.28 sales tax, for a total of $343.28. Her foster family would like to find a home for her within 30 miles of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Her adoptive family is also encouraged to attend the Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion.
