Hiya, my name is PheeBea, what’s yours? It is so very nice to meet you. Do you like fetch and puppy kisses? Oh – I should probably slow down. I get so excited to make new friends, it is hard for me to contain myself! I’m an adoptable Boston Terrier – Chihuahua with NBS Animal Rescue. I’m a happy little lady, and only 3-4 months old. Of course, that means I have plenty of puppy playfulness to go around. So far, I like to spend my days in foster care chasing tiny tennis balls, wrestling with stuffed animals, trying to give the cat kisses (I don’t know why the kitty resists my affections), bouncing around outside, chewing on teething toys and romping around with other super playful dogs of all sizes.
Although I really love my friends and foster siblings at NBS Animal Rescue, it would sure be great to find a home of my own. It would be great to have someone to be close with – I even hold on to “hug” when you pick me up. I would love a home that would take the time to play fetch with me until I get too tired –then we could snuggle and just enjoy some cuddle time. Do you think that could be with you?

P.S. My friends at NBS Animal Rescue are helping me to find the perfect fur-ever home. All of the dogs in our rescue are have different personalities and needs within an adoptive home. Not all of my friends here at NBS Animal Rescue have the same requirements, so if I’m not be the perfect fit for your family- be sure to check out my other doggy friends too!
1.) Visit www.nbsar.org to fill out my adoption application. As an approved adopter, my rescue friends can set up a home visit so I can meet you. Our rescue is 100% run by volunteers, to help your application be processed as quickly as possible, please make sure to….
2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release information about your current and past pet’s veterinary history.
3.) Call your references too! Let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number, and a rescue team member will need to talk to them on the phone as a reference.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (age appropriate), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. If you’d like to meet me, please apply online and to become an approved adopter!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative , spayed/neutered (unless a documented medical reason is on file with your veterinarian). Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine, cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application. This also applies to any pets in your home within the past five years.
