My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mark. Mark is 10 months old. He is a bull terrier/hound mix. We pulled Mark from a high kill shelter days before he was to die to make space for new intakes. It is heartbreaking to think this precious boy could have died for no other reason than to make space. There was no way we could let him die. It was obvious he had not had the best of life so far. He had never been loved by a human like he deserved. Mark came to the shelter as a stray so we do not know his past but we do know his future. We know exactly what this little boy deserves. He deserves a family to spoil him, love him and keep him safe from harm. Mark is a bit timid when he first meets you but once he realizes you are not going to hurt him he relaxes. He is a loving and playful boy. He is learning to walk on a leash which he clearly had never done before. Mark at only 10 months old had to have two teeth removed due to poor diet. He probably had to fend for himself and eat trash to survive. Mark is still a puppy. We have to make sure the rest of his life is beyond amazing. We have to show him that not all humans are bad. Just look at that face…..he is stunning. Who could not love him?

Mark is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative and on preventatives. He is great with kids and other dogs. He has not been cat tested yet but can be if needed. All he needs is a place to call home, a family of his own. Will you consider adopting Mark and showing him what love is, teach him, protect him and make him a part of your family? This little boy will be forever grateful and will be your best friend for life. ADOPTION FEE $450
