Babar loves everybody, and is loved by all as well! He is especially fond of cats – they are his best friends. We think he was a cat in a past life! He loves squeaky toys, and if you adopt him he will share them with you! He is clean, and housebroken, and loves to snuggle on the couch and bed! He loves doggy baths and doggy massages. He feels being pampered is numero uno, and he will pamper you with love and kisses in return! Babar think’s it’s all fine and dandy that he’s at the shelter, but he really dreams of the day that his person will see him, fall in love, and come take him on his new journey!
Babar was in a home before, but he was returned because the older dog in the house did not want him there. Maybe it was Babar’s cool and collected sense of self, but Babar had to come to us. Babar has a mild thyroid condition which causes problems with his fur, and it would be resolved a lot more quickly if he was in home with you! All Babar needs is one little pill a day! He thinks he’s like a chia…we think he is a delicate bud waiting to bloom! He is a bit older, approximately 8 years of age, but as the story of Babar depicts, “he has lived among men and learned much.” Babar is a wise fellow waiting to meet you!
