My name is Tinkerbelle!

Dachshund Dog for adoption in Orlando, Florida - Tinkerbelle

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Tinkerbelle's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Tinkerbelle's Story...
I am a female Silver Dapple Dachshund. I am about 4 years old and weigh 12.3 lbs. I am spayed, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention. I have also had a dental done.
My adoption is $250.

I was given up by my owner who was breeding dachshunds. She could no longer care for all of us, so I was given up along with Blue and Dixie. I can be a bit on the shy side and would do best in a home without small kids.

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-4:30 and Sunday from 12-4:30.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinkerbelle, a Orlando Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
