Allen's Story...
Allen #2533 is a 1-year-old male, St. Bernard/Boxer mix. Allen is a very smart and loving boy. He is house broken, kennel and leash trained and knows basic commands. This sweetheart smiles when getting petted and loves a good game of fetch. He makes an excellent running and swimming partner; he enjoys outdoor activities. Allen is a ladies man, and warms up to men with a proper introduction. This boy may be big but he is always gentle when playing with other dogs and does well with cats and kids! He will always cuddle and his favorite spot to sleep is the one right beside you on his own bed with all his toys. Allen is full grown; he weighs 90 pounds. We believe you can always teach an old dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website:http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.htmland return it per instructions. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allen, a Waldorf St. Bernard/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Boxer for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a St. Bernard/Boxer dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Boxer breeders who help with St. Bernard/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
