Hello, my name is Midnight. I am a nice family cat. I am a young, shorthaired, spayed female kitty in need of a home. I just love attention, companionship and affection. I come to people when I'm called and I love to cuddle. I have a sweet, yet playful personality. I enjoy playing with toys. I'm a great lapcat cause I love to be petted and held - I just think kind people are the best thing ever. I am very sweet and I get along great with other cats. I also don't mind dogs who don't chase me. I really like treats and cuddling with my humans. I enjoy lounging in the sunshine, from the safety of indoors, of course. I'm litterbox trained and I'm a quiet kitty. I am well behaved too. I do not scratch on objects that I am not supposed to scratch. Saturday, June 20, 2015: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd., Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2015: June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21 and December 19.

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
