Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie spent some time in foster-care before coming to BCC. His foster mom writes:
Charlie is a handsome, charming kitty that thinks he is a dog! He is extremely affectionate, outgoing, and adjusts well to new situations. Whenever you come home, he will always make a fuss and greet you with much fanfare and meowing. He also comes when you call him, especially if there’s food involved. When he’s really happy, he’ll purr loudly and head butt everything in sight. He likes to have his head and the sides of his face scratched in particular. Charlie is most content snuggled up with his people on the couch or while eating his canned food, catnip, or treats. Since Charlie is an older kitty, he will need a home that can offer proper care for an active senior. He does have a suspected mild food allergy that makes his ears itchy sometimes. They occasionally need to be cleaned by the vet. A special diet may be required, as well as follow up vet visits. He dislikes other cats so he needs a home where he can be an only kitty, though his prior owners say he loved their dogs. He has unfortunately been passed from owner to owner throughout his life. You’d never know it from his sweet, happy disposition. He needs a kind, attentive forever home to live out the rest of his years.
