Hello there new friends! My name is Shelby! I'm about 1 1/2 years old and I weigh about 70 lbs.
I was found as a stray in Salineville after being dumped by my owner and I was picked up by the pound.
I'm a very sweet girl! I love love love all of the people I have met since I have been here at the pound. I also love all of the other dogs, most especially the little beagle pup that annoys the collar off of everyone else! I am wonderful with her- She's my little bestie.
I am pretty clean in my kennel. I try to keep it clean at night but sometimes I am just not able to. As long as I have the option to go outside, that is where I prefer to go, so if I am not already potty trained, I should be pretty easy to housebreak.

**UPDATE** I was adopted for a while but was recently returned due to some resource guarding issues. The pound has not observed me guard anything at all since arriving back but they will continue to monitor me during my stay here.
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MAY 25, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
