Radar is a male Yorkshire Terrier mix only 1 year old. He is smaller, weighing only 9 pounds full grown. Radar has a wispy black and tan coat with a tuft of silver on his head. His big ears give him tons of character since one of them tilts forward and the other stands up straight. Radar is one of a kind for sure. He is an easy keeper, super smart, readily trainable, and never makes a fuss. He just wants to get along, wherever he happens to be. Radar has very little demands, but he loves attention even though he is polite and will never force himself on you. He will shyly pick up a toy and bring it to you once he gets to know you. Radar likes to play with other dogs his size and his play is always gentle. He will just as easily snuggle with his trusted humans as play and will flourish in a stable, loving home of his own. Radar walks on leash and rides silently in the car. He will stick close to those he knows when out in public, but can be enticed to play by more outgoing dogs he meets when out and about. He would do fine as an only dog, or with another mellow dog in the household that likes to play on occasion. Radar was rescued from a very high volume/high kill shelter where he was brought in stray. We think he has had a rough life up until this point and probably little or no stability, love, or a real home. Radar is a healthy, sturdy little guy and is looking for his new forever home today!
Radar’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
