My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~adoption fee applies email caarescue@gmail.com~

My name is Stella … well it was Bella and now it is Stella!
My foster mom thought it was best to change my name to wash away the past but not too much of a change that it would confuse me! How does my foster mummy know my name when I was found stray and taken to Animal control to sit there for 5 days for my family to claim me and they never ever did???
Well my family WAS found and they just decided to leave me at the pound and never came to pick me up, I do not know why or what the circumstances are that lead them to make this decision but thankfully on the absolutely second I was allowed to be release legally to CAA Rescue my foster mama was standing there waiting for me!

Don’t feel too bad for me though because I sure as heck don’t!
I am the happiest dog CAA Rescue has in foster care these days!!! HAPPY should have been my name!

I absolutely LOVE people – people are my most favorite vice! I even got a person who is terrified of big dogs to give me a hug or rather I jumped up and gave him a bear hug and even though I could tell he was sooooooooo scared of me I just kept on hugging and loving him. He was so amazed on just how much love I had to give; he had never ever hugged a big doggie before in his life!
Boy it felt good to show him that Big Rescue Doggies can be Sweet and Gentle

I am a medium to high energy girl because I am still young I need active people who like to walk and be with me playing and teaching me new things

I do know basic commands in French
I am an all business outside kind of girl and have had no accidents while in foster care

My new home should have no cats…. Or chickens…… or bunnies……… but maybe could have a turtle and definitely could have another doggie!
I have a strong urge to chase little ones that are not dogs! I get along well with dogs of all sizes but chasing those cats is just wayyyyyyyyyy too much fun for me. And when my foster mummy is there and she tells me “no” I do stop immediately but the second she is not looking and not paying attention to me I am back at it.
I have never ever hurt a soul in my life but needless to say small prey don’t like to be stalked and chased so I think it would just be best for everyone if there was no cat in my forever home

I am left alone all day in foster care with no destruction or separation anxiety. Now you must consider that my foster home has very sweet little pugalicious pugs that keep me company when the humans are gone so I am not really ever alone … just something for my new family to consider

I obviously was not walked very often if ever at all because I am still learning how to behave like a proper canine citizen when out on walks but my foster mummy is so patient with me and I am so freaking smart I am learning so fast!

I was very matted and dirty when my foster mummy came to get me from the pound. But she spent the weekend grooming me and I let her do it with no complainants… even though the brush was pulling at the knots and mats in my fur I never ever budge or moved a muscle.
I was so very happy that someone was finally taking care of me I was more than happy to sit still and be groomed into the gorgeous girl I am today….. and I am super gorgeous!!! No photo does me justice!

I did hurt my nose when I was in the cage at the pound – I kept pushing my nose up against the bars trying desperately hard to get out that all the fur was rubbed off and my skin raw but my foster mama cleaned and applied anti biotics and took care of my nose even in the sun; she makes sure my bare skin in protected so that once my ouchie is healed up my fur will return … I know EXACTLY what you are think!!! My foster mama is pretty darn freaking awesome!! And I would have to agree with you but I know she is not mine for always and she is only a rest stop to help me find my true forever humans.
The real people I was truly always meant to be with.
The people who will never ever let my coat get matted and dirty so bad,
The people who would never ever leave me loose running the streets and
The people who would never ever leave me at a pound unclaimed, unwanted and unloved
The people who want me in their lives to love me for always
The people who will love to get my Bear Hugs and not scold me thinking I am bad for showing all the love I have to give
The people who will never ever, ever put me back in a cage where I can hurt myself trying to escape
Are you “The People”?

Do you have a back yard safely fenced where I can run around and chase you and bother you while you cut the lawn?

Are you the people I was running the streets looking for? … searching for???
Is it you that I have always been looking for?
If so what the heck are you waiting for??!??
