Shortie is really a fabulous girl! She's smart, friendly with people, and doesn't mind cats. She is a cuddle-bug and would be happiest being the only dog, and because of her size and energy level will do best in a forever family with kids over 14. Shortie knows some commands and absolutely loves fetching balls!

Our Mission

Simply stated, we rescue animals directly from the hands of the abusers. Justice Rescue is a team dedicated not only to focusing education and awareness on such animal abuse, but also to taking concrete steps to resolve specific cases of animal cruelty. We are confident that with a collected group effort, we can develop a team of associated rescues to achieve a successful outcome for animals worldwide. We fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.

Zero Tolerance on Cruelty, Abuse, and Neglect

Justice Rescue has a zero tolerance for animal cruelty, abuse, and neglect. We will encourage all citizens to confidentially report any types of animal abuse for both private owners and any commercial centers. The Justice Rescue team will investigate reported cases and take the necessary steps to stop the abuse. Our goal is that no animal will be left behind. All cases that need to be handled by the police or SPCA investigators will be expertly documented and Justice Rescue will assist and ensure that justice is served.

With years of experience in all aspects of rescue operations - from individual animal rescues to funding initiatives - Justice Rescue’s efforts are based on a rational and sober perspective. Economic realities often translate into harsh parameters that seem to present insurmountable odds against success. That’s why Justice Rescue regularly acts in the role of coordinator, helping organizations partner together in the most efficient means possible to maximize the use of funding while streamlining activities and reducing duplication of effort.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in one of our Adoptables, please contact us on here or our website www.justice-rescue.com under the "Adopt/Foster" tab. More photos of our animals can be found on our facebook page as well.

When you adopt from us, it allows us to go rescue another animal directly from the hands of the abusers, so you are literally saving two lives.

If you are within the Philadelphia area, we offer some free training classes to our new families that adopts an animal from us.

Can't adopt? How about Foster?! We are always in need of foster homes. You will be the next step before the animals can find their forever homes. Please fill out a foster application at www.justice-rescue.com under the "Adopt/Foster" tab.

The families that adopt or foster from us immediately become part of the "Justice Rescue Family." We take pride in knowing we have found a great match for an animal. We keep open lines of communication for our families and often get many updates about their new family member they adopted from Justice Rescue!

Our adoption fee for dogs is $450 - that includes a wellness exam, all age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing when age appropriate, heartworm treatment if necessary, worming, microchip and registration, flea/tick treatment and 30 days of free pet insurance.
