Belle Bellini's Story...
As summer approaches, we welcome new DREAM Dachsie, Belle Bellini. She's a sweet girl who loves playing with other dogs, so she would do best in a home with at least one other dog companion. She enjoys playing ball and running around at the dog park. She is house trained but like any Dachshund, she can have an accident if she's not taken out regularly. Belle came from a family with a young baby, so she's comfortable with children. This precious 7 year old is a total sweetheart and doesn't really understand why her family had to give her up. Belle enjoys human attention and just wants to be loved and to belong. She deserves a loving family that she can shower with love in return! Won't you consider letting her be the center of your attention?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle Bellini, a Houston Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Houston, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
