I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Essi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Essi's Story...
Essi is an energetic 2 year old girl who loves to play with squeaky toys
and chase her tail! She adores cuddling and attention, she is a great
companion. Essi plays well with other dogs, however, she is possessive
towards other dogs (not people) when food and toys are involved and it
should be avoided. She grunts A LOT but non-aggressively. She is
kennel trained and has not had any accidents. She needs a loving home
where someone can give her the time and attention she deserves.
She was found on the side of the road on Saturday the 4th of April with a
swollen left eye and in shock. After searching for several shelters we
found out they could take her but would euthanize her because of her
breed. She slept through the night and was showing improvement by the
next morning, no longer showing signs of shock and letting her
personality emerge.
Likes: neck/head rubs, scratchies, squeaky toys, cuddling, running,
playing fetch, rolling in the grass, licking, being brushed
Dislikes. thunder, other dogs near food and toys including people food,
being left alone but she doesn't destroy anything

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Essi, a Houston Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
