My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a Courtesy Listing. This dog is with one of our wonderful partner rescue groups. Please email for details.

Meet Minnow:

I am no small fish in the sea! I am a very active boy who wants to be with a loving and active family. I love to play, but I also love to cuddle at night also. A good time for me could be going for a walk, or chewing on my bone, or even lying next to you on the couch while you scratch my ears. I occasionally like to make funny faces at you just to make you laugh. For a real show, just ask me “who’s hungry” when its time to eat, and I will wow you with my energy. I know I can be special for someone. I hope it will be you.

More About Minnow:

This big fish was rescued from a shelter about 18 months ago. He’d gone from a family, to a friend of the family who decided the SPCA was a better place for him. We agree, because he certainly wasn’t treated with love and respect. Minnow’s next family went looking for another dog but was hooked by Minnow. They saw a sweet boy who needed another chance and to find love and trust with humans. Minnow has come a long way since his adoption. In his current home, his owner has helped Minnow rebuild his trust in humans and he has blossomed in this safe, loving environment. Unfortunately Minnow and one of his canine brothers just don’t get along and can’t live together. Minnow is fine with the other dogs in the house but because of the problems between these two, Minnow will only be adopted to a family where he can be their one and only.

Minnow needs a forever family who will continue to show him the humans are safe, loving guardians. We recommend that his new family go through a basic obedience class with Minnow to help with forming that bond with him.

To adopt, please email with a description of who Minnow will be living with, the home he'll be living in, plus any additional info. Please send your email to Toocutepuppies@yahoo.com. No phone calls, please- email only. We look forward to hearing from you!
