My name is Regina!

Siamese Cat for adoption in Des Moines, Iowa - Regina

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Regina's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Regina's Story...
Regina was found as a stray in southern Iowa and when she tested postiive for FIV that shelter contacted Animal Lifeline and we had room! She can be a little shy and she does not like to be picked up but she loves to be petted. She does prefer "her own space" so a home without young children would be best. Because she is FIV positive she will need a home with no other cats or where the other cats are FIV positive and not in "her face". Healthy and content best describes this special lady that was born in 2008.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Regina, a Des Moines Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
