We rescued L-Roy and Alto from their owner who was being evicted and could no longer keep them.

This is what their foster mom has told us so far:

L-Roy is the father.  He will be 8 on July 8. Alto is the son and he turned 7 a couple weeks ago.

They are extremely bonded and must be adopted together. The previous owner said they are both good with kids, cats and rabbits. They are very good with my 2 dogs.

They are both great off leash.  They come when called and don't travel too far away.
They are both love bugs.....love belly rubs.   Neither has had any accidents in the house.

Update 8/11/14
Both have adjusted well actually.  They love to be outside....the previous owner let them out 3 times a day to go to the bathroom....nothing more.
They know many commands, and are complete love bugs.  I've noticed Alto likes to sleep in corners and on the floor rather than a dog bed.
Alto has Mega esophagus.   Basically Alto has a stricture at the bottom of his esophagus.   If he eats a "normal" amount of food it will come back up.  He gets 3 cans of canned pâté type food a day....small amounts every 20-30 minutes apart allowing the food time to pass into his stomach.
