My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Coleman, and I'm half of a great package deal with my little sister Chloe. I'm a sweet, 10 years young chihuahua mix, and Chloe is a 5 year old terrier mix. Together we're a super cute pair who would love to have our very own people to love.

Coleman says: My favorite pastime is snuggling with my foster mom on the couch or in bed. I also love bringing you my toys so we can play fetch. My sister and I enjoy playing tag and chasing each other around until we tire ourselves out.

Chloe says: I love to have fun! I'm an energetic but well-behaved girl. My foster mom says I'm like a 7 pound pogo stick. I love to be with my people and follow them from room to room, or snuggle up with them to watch some TV.

Chloe and Coleman would love a quiet forever home where they can go for walks, help out in the garden, and share a couch cushion with their person. Their ideal home would be one with only children 12+, or a one or two person home with a very laid back lifestyle. No cats please-- they're just too tempting for Coleman. :-)

Chloe and Coleman are up to date on their vaccinations, microchipped, and housetrained. They are being fostered in Charlton, and the adoption fee of $300 will cover them both.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
