Reuben is a truly delightful young man. As with most Australian Shepherds, he demonstrates incredible athleticism and intelligence. He will need a human companion to offer him a considerable daily amount of exercise and attention. After stretching his legs to burn off pent up energy, Reuben quickly mellows and is happy to be right at your side. He is a companion dog and would love a large yard or farm to maintain his highest level of satisfaction. It does appear that Reuben is either house trained or crate trained, though this really can’t be confirmed until he’s in a home setting with a routine. He certainly tends to business as soon as he is let outside. Please consider this great guy as your next shadow dog.
