My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ROVER is a 2 year old neutered black male Lab that weighs 69 pounds. He is a handsome high energy pup who loves to be with people. He likes to get attention and has a good nose, found my treat stash in about 10 seconds. He will make a great addition to a family who has an active life style and has had a high energy dog before. Needs to go to a home that has a yard with a fence that he can run and play with his owners in (Not an underground fence as he would break through it without breaking his stride). Good with other dogs. No cat history Knows sit, down and come. Will have a training addendum Pretty good on lead better with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained may be house trained as he is keeping his room clean at the vet. Does not like a crate, believe he was kept crated for long periods of time. He is doing well at the kennel in their rooms. Rover is approved for kids ages 10+. More info soon!!

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.

Evaluator Says He is very energy and has been in the shelter too long suffering from BBDS (big black dog syndrome). With a cookie, he can sit, down and stay. Very strong
