Shelley is a sweet, gentle, and well-behaved dog! Shelley is very well in her loving foster home with 2 other dogs, cats, and a young boy. She is polite with people, gentle with children, and enjoys the company of other dogs. Shelley is gentle on the leash and will make a good walking buddy. She is also well-behaved when at home as she is mellow and calm.

Poor girl was found abandoned in a remote mountain where there are no food and shelter. She kept walking up and down the hill as if she was waiting for her family to return. Unfortunately she doesn’t know that she has been forgotten and left homeless to starve. Her rescuer was in the area and spotted her when she was driving by. Shelley was so hungry she went into a humane trap easily. She was rushed to the vet for a complete checkup and luckily she is a healthy girl.

Shelley had her vaccination, rabies shot, spayed and microchip. All she needs is for a family to open their hearts to her and give her a new life! Shelley is ready for her forever home where she can be loved and love you back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shelley, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
