Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Saucy is a sweet 3 y/o girl who prefers loving to just about anything else, including food, which is saying a lot for a beagle. She's a young girl who despite being a super-sized, is incredibly playful and active with her much larger foster brother, Samuel. She does not appear to be a digger and only bays when she's playing or when deeply disturbed by a local squirrel or cat. Her favorite activity is cuddling on the couch, with a close second being playing with Samuel. She came to us somewhat chunky at over 30 pounds, but with tons of exercise and a controlled diet, she's begun to firm up. She is housebroken, knows how use a dog door, is crate trained, and responds to simple commands like sit and lay down.
Saucy is friendly towards everyone including children. In fact, friendly might be an understatement. She LOVES meeting new people and whines a bit when they leave. A guest to our home will have a beagle in their lap within minutes. While Saucy would seem to be a great solo dog, she would also do well with fellow doggie brothers or sisters. In fact, if you're interested in a pair that have already bonded and who are great at keeping each other company, exercised, and out of trouble, her foster brother Samuel is also looking for a forever home.
