Milo's Story...
This three year old border collie mix is a sweet, happy guy. He likes to take things slow when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly. He can be a little unsure around other dogs, so as always, if you have a dog at home and might like to meet Milo, your dog should come along for a meet and greet, too. We think a home with older kids like teenagers would be his happy place. Milo has a lot of energy and loves to zip around the yard and play. He'll make a really fun companion, come meet him!

Unless noted differently above, you can come in anytime during our hours to meet and/or adopt! Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. No appointment necessary. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Briarcliff Manor Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Briarcliff Manor, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Briarcliff Manor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Briarcliff Manor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Briarcliff Manor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Briarcliff Manor paves the way for another one to be saved.
