Prince was brought to a shelter in L.A. after being hit by a car. When PRC staff saw that despite his injuries his tail never ceased wagging, resistance was futile. So back to Orange County he came. Upon arrival an orthopedic surgeon assessed his injuries. Though he sustained a femoral fracture and a pubic bone fracture, both were healing well on their own and surgery would not be necessary. All he needed was a bit of rest and relaxation to become 100% again. Through all this Humperdinck’s indomitable spirit has never wavered. He remains one of the happiest pups you’ll ever meet. This little terrier mix weighs just 13 Lbs. and is an ideal size for any living situation. He loves people and other dogs and walks well on a leash.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
