Henny - In Foster's Story...
To learn more about Henny, please call his foster mom, Lisa, at 914-393-9500 or email: waggindogtails@gmail.com.

Sweet Henny has been waiting patiently for his forever home. Brought in as a stray, it was very apparent that someone must have really loved this dog at some point, as he was constantly wagging his tail and greeting everyone with kisses! However, no one ever claimed this sweet boy, so here he waits. Henny is in a foster home because he had to get one of his back legs amputated. It appears that he had sustained an inqury before coming to us that never healed properly and unfortunately, surgery did not correct the problem, therefore we made the tough decision to remove one of his back legs. That doesn't seem to stop Henny though! He still zips around with the best of them! Henny is being fostered in a home with other dogs, cats and kids! However, he would prefer to be the only animal in the home so he can get all the attention! You couldn't ask for a sweeter, more loyal companion than Henny. He constantly wants to be with his people, which is why a home with someone that is typically there and doesn't work long hours would be ideal for him. If you'd like to meet Henny, please email: Lisa@spca914.org. He is about 8 years old and truly an amazing underdog to wonderdog story who deserves a fairy tale ending.
