These adorable little friends are Chico and Oreo, two best buddies that would give anything to be in a wonderful, loving home of their own. The boys were turned in to us because their owner had too many pets and too much going on in their life, so they lightened their load by getting rid of their two dogs. Chico is about 6 years old and his friend Oreo is around 5, and they are schipperke/chihuahua mixes. The boys have been together since they were pups and will need a home where they can stay together forever. Although they were upset to be uprooted from the only home they have ever known, they found comfort in still having each other and are very bonded. Both boys are a bit shy and quiet when they first meet you, but they warm up quickly if you show them a little love and attention. Oreo is a bit more outgoing and will whine for attention, while Chico quietly cuddles up against you to feel safe and secure. Once they get to know you, the boys will roll around all over you, nuzzling you and goofing around. The boys are very well behaved and gentle. They walk perfectly on a leash and have excellent manners. They even enjoy baths! They grew up with other dogs and children and get along fine with everyone they meet. Chico and Oreo would transition easily into any loving home with a family that can give them the lifetime of happiness that they deserve. File#24769 & 24770 5/27/15
