I love love love to eat! My foster family has successfully converted me to a healthy diet. I eat Zupreem pellets, chop and some fruit. I do like to try new foods, especially if I see you eating them first!
My wonderful foster family introduced me to these things called toys. Wow! I just love those too, especially the wicker kind that I can shred. Sometimes my foster mommy buys me 5 at a time I go through them so fast. I like to do other things besides eat and play with my toys though. I like to hang out on top of my cage, and I like to climb down off my cage and go walking about. Please, when I am walking about, make sure that I'm supervised so other members of my new family don't accidently step on me, or worse. I will step up for either a man or woman (no preference here, I'm fond of everyone) and I like to hang out with you on your lap. You will know if I'm content because you will hear me purring, much like your furry feline friends. I also like head scritches, but you have to be patient and give me time to get to know you before I will allow you to touch my head.
I do have a hormonal implant that I received in February, 2016. FPR and the vet are hoping that it will last an entire year. The cost for the entire procedure is about $300.00. This implant has greatly improved the quality of my life and we would all like to continue with it, even after I find my forever home. My adoptive family should plan for this financially. My foster mom can give you more detailed information about it should you be interested in meeting me.
Speaking of which....I would love to find my forever home! I have come a long way since I first came into Rescue. My foster mom says I'm fairly quiet so there are no restrictions on what type of dwelling I need to live in. I would sure love for you to come on out and meet me. Perhaps we could go home together? In the meantime, would you like to buy me one of my favorite wicker toys so I can keep on shredding? Here is the link to my Amazon wish list.
Thank you so much, hope to meet you soon!
