Lightning's Story...
DOB: 2/18/14

Spayed Female

Breed: DSH Grey Tabby

FIV/FELV tested negative Love windows, watch birds
Enjoys Cat Condos All I need is love & patience
I was found scared and searching for someone to love. I am a very sweet kitty, I am just extremely shy and take some time to warm up to you. A couple different visits to get to know me and to get me used to you would be ideal for getting to know my personality. I am always told how beautiful I am and how beautiful my green eyes are. I would prefer a quiet, low traffic home with someone who is looking for a special cat. I am independent and will let you know when I am in the mood for affection. I enjoy having a cat bed by the window so that I can lay on it and feel safe, while enjoying the scenery and the birds. Please be patient and know it will take a little time for me to warm up, but good things always come to those who wait. 

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lightning, a Glendale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Glendale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
