Iris's Story...

Iris was relinquished to rescue with her pup Ivy and friend Isis as the owners just had no time for them and the pups were pretty much living outside and it is HOT!!!! She is a very very sweet friendly young adult...about 2 years old and is about 12 pounds. Do see her pup Ivy and friend Isis if you are interested in more than one as they have all been living together! All are on our site helpadogsmile.org. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on shots. I would love to find my new forever home... I'm ready to go! Iris has an adoption fee of $175 and please do go to helpadogsmile.org to fill out an application if you are interested in meeting her:)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Iris, a Phoenix Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
