Very disappointing news...Virginia is back and looking for her forever home once again. She was adopted about a month ago and was doing great socializing with many people, other dogs, and even a parrot, but needs someone who will be more patient with her housebreaking and getting her on a stable daily routine. Poor Virginia has had so many disappointments in her young life and never had a "real home"- she went from a backyard breeder's yard, to almost being killed in a local shelter because she was a "big black shy dog" that they thought no one would ever adopt, and then spending a year going back and forth between foster care and boarding at our vet so it's understandable that she's going to need to learn some household manners and patience. She's crate-trained and loves going for walks, hikes, playing with her doggie friends, and did well in her foster home following other dogs out to go to the bathroom. We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS). Local inquiries only please- we do not do long distance adoptions.
