My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MISTY arrived at the shelter with five tiny kittens which she had been raising with little more than love. Apparently the birth of her little family made them unwelcome in their former home. However, with care and lots of nutritious food, both she and the kittens have thrived. All five of them have been adopted already.

Misty is now ready to find her forever home. She is about one and a half years old, a gray classic tabby with stripes and swirls -- a very pretty little kitty. She has a loud purr and an endearing meow, which she uses to ensure that her requirements are met. She has recently moved to a larger room full of toys, scratchers, more toys, lots of climbing trees and still more toys. She is having a ball. That’s her in the crinkly tunnel.

Misty has a sweet personality and doesn’t mind being picked up and patted, although she will set the limits. Too much familiarity too soon may produce a well-placed swat, until she gets used to you. She is not a big fan of other cats and will probably prefer to be the queen of the household. Let’s find this little lady a home full of love.
